When it comes to travelling around Singapore, there’s undeniably a myriad of options to pick from. The extensive MRT system and buses are more than enough to get you from one place to another.
The only issue is, it can get pretty tiring if you’re looking to do a full day’s worth of sightseeing with all your family members, or go on a shopping spree. Plus, if you’re unfamiliar with Singapore’s peak hour slow downs, you might just find yourself in a jam or late for your next appointment. So instead of travelling with uncertainty, why not go for something a little more convenient?
What is a Maxi Cab?
If you’re not sure what a maxi cab is exactly though, don’t worry! We’re here to give you a quick breakdown.
Maxi cabs in Singapore generally refer to private vehicles in Singapore used for public transportation and often have a passenger and luggage capacity higher than the conventional car.
They can be used to charter a ride to and from anywhere in Singapore, be it a transfer from Singapore Changi Airport to your hotel or a ride around the country for the day. One of the best ways to get around, they offer space, comfort, and efficiency!
Types of Maxi Cabs In Singapore
As there are several types of maxi cabs in Singapore, you might want to request for a maxi cab that fits your needs for the day best.
If you’re looking for something simple, a maxi car should do the trick. Maxi cars have a capacity of 4 passengers and 2 bags, or 1 passenger and multiple bags. Beyond the large space available, they also offer the comfort of finely tailored leathers, smoother drives, and your own personal driver for the trip. Have a peek at one with this maxi car sedan.
Alternatively, if you’re thinking of travelling in a big group, opt for a maxi limousine! Singapore’s maxi limousines have a passenger capacity of up to 8 people and 5 bags – so you know you’re getting all the space you and your family need. Just like maxi cars, maxi limousines also offer luxury and ease on every ride. Hesed Limousine’s Mercedes V-Class MPV, Toyota Vellfire MPV or Toyota Alphard MPV might be just what you need to get around Singapore with ease.
The best part? Both options offer on-board drinks, snacks, and wifi, so you get from place to place in comfort throughout your day!
How do you book a Maxi Cab in Singapore?
When it comes to maxi cabs, the idea is ease and convenience. All you have to do is give any maxi cab company a call, or fill up a form on their website at least 2 days in advance and let them know of your trip’s details. That way, they can provide you with the vehicle and services best for your needs.
Information that might be required include:
The purpose of your trip
Number of adult and children passengers
Amount of luggage to be transported
Flight details for airport transfers.
If you’re looking for the easiest way to book a maxi cab though, you may want to head to Hesed Limousine’s booking page, or drop them a message on their WhatsApp for fast responses and ease of planning!
Booking a maxi cab in Singapore is pretty simple, and when the result ultimately means worry-free, comfortable, and luxurious travels, maxi cabs are definitely one of the best ways to get around!

Whether you’re arriving or departing from Singapore, travelling to or from Singapore Changi Airport isn’t difficult. Singapore’s well-established transport network definitely makes travelling easier, and places more accessible!
But like every good traveller knows: always prepare for the worst. Between MRT breakdowns and peak hour traffic jams, with improper planning, a relaxing journey quickly turns into a race against the clock. Not to mention, you’ll probably be carrying luggage bags that can be tough to handle, especially if you’re travelling with kids.
The best solution for an easy and hassle-free ride to and from the airport? An airport transfer! From a chauffeur to your own comfortable space the entire length of the ride, airport transfers to and from Singapore Changi Airport ultimately means breathing easy no matter where you’re headed to after. We’ve broken down the 3 types of airport transfer rentals in Singapore to consider depending on your needs – regardless of group size and comforts required.
1. Spacious MPVs For Comfort & Convenience
Need both comfort and space? MPVs are the way to go! They’re the perfect ride for anyone who needs a large trunk space for luggage, room to stretch, and peace of mind.
Comfortable Limousine Rides
Toyota Alphard’s spacious cabin
Known for their premium cabin features, MPVs bring to the table everything you need for an unforgettable ride. For instance, Hesed Limousine’s Toyota Alphards and Vellfires feature captain seats with adjustable backrests and footrests, and personalised vents with personal, adjustable ventilation. Now, your friend who’s always cold can remain warm and snug, while you chill with cooler air despite being in the same cabin!
Mercedes V-Class MPV seats
Hesed Limousine’s Mercedes V-Class MPV also boasts similar comforts – with chairs that recline automatically to your preference and even massage functions, airport transfers have never been so luxurious or relaxing. Just imagine being able to choose from three different massage intensities and climatisation stages on your ride to or from the airport!
Space: For Everyone, And Their Luggage
Toyota Alphard’s captain seats
More importantly though, you’re going to need space for everyone and your belongings. This is especially so for families with kids that need strollers, or large groups with loads of luggage!
Beyond comfort, MPVs’ spacious cabins are big enough for 6 to 7 people to rest comfortably even with carry-on luggage – including space in the trunk for up to 5 luggage bags. So if you’re looking for an airport transfer in Singapore that’s convenient, comfortable, and luxurious, a limousine service with an MPV is definitely the go-to.
Perfect for: Families and travellers with many bags
When you think of a Mercedes Sedan, chances are, you’re thinking of class, style, and comfort dripping in luxury – with a sedan airport transfer in Singapore, trust that that’s what you’ll be getting!
Luxury and Ease
Mercedes E-Class Sedan
Hesed Limousine’s Mercedes Sedans (E-Class and S-Class) come with neck and shoulder heating in each (reclining!) seat, panoramic sliding sunroofs, and seat upholstery in man-made leather that provide the perfect balance of ease and opulence. The rides also come with wireless charging and a touchscreen tablet at each seat so you can watch videos or listen to music on the go. Plus, with ambient lighting and sleek, classy exteriors to boot, you’ll be enjoying your travels with a little flair!
Space: Relax In Cosy Spaces
While the sedans are notably smaller than MPVs, their cosy interiors mean that they’re perfect for groups of up to 4 pax to ride comfortably! The star choice for small families, couples, or even solo travellers, Hesed Limousine’s sedans can carry up to 2 bags in its trunk and some small carry-ons.
Perfect for: Small groups of families / friends, solo travellers, couples.
The best part about travelling in a large group is the memories you make together. So why not make the most of your trip with a fun and lively airport transfer? The more, the merrier!
Breathing Easy Even With Big Parties
The Toyota Hiace is a van big enough for large travel parties, or groups with a lot of luggage. It’s able to fit up to 13 passengers with no baggage limit! So if you’re travelling with large amounts of luggage, strollers, and / or restless kids who need to move every now and then, there’s no need to bump elbows or squeeze uncomfortably the entire journey. Instead, relax in your own seat and breathe easy!
Entertainment For Everyone
The Hiace limousine also comes with a DVD player, onboard snacks and wifi. So for chill rides, all you’ve got to do is pop in a CD, grab some treats, and watch a movie! These features are also available in Hesed Limousine’s Sedan and MPV airport transfer services.
Perfect for: Large groups, families with kids, parties with a lot of luggage.
Regardless of your space, time and baggage though, getting an airport transfer with Hesed Limousine ultimately means proper planning, chauffeur services, and comfortable luxury all around! You’ll be starting (or ending) your travels worry-free and relaxed – just the way you should be.

Your big event is coming up, and you’re desperately looking through the list of things you need to do in advance. If it’s an event that involves your loved ones, the list probably includes debating between having everyone find their own transport, or renting a bus charter. And that’s no easy task.
There are a large variety of options available to suit your event’s unique needs, and figuring this out might seem overwhelming at first. Fortunately, we’re here to help. We’ve compiled a list of events and the bus charters suitable for each occasion, so be sure to find out what options you have in this short list!
1. Large wedding parties: Coach (45-seater)
Larger weddings often come with an extensive wedding guest list, which can be hard to accommodate if you plan to move from one location to another. Not to mention you’d also have to take into consideration elderly guests, or those with mobility issues, that may find it hard to arrange for their own transportation.
Furthermore, having your guests find their way to locations can be inconvenient since you’d have to ensure that each individual has a mode of transport (and a backup plan!) to depend on. And if poor planning is involved, there is always a possibility of someone turning up late to your wedding due to issues out of their control, like traffic jams or wet road conditions. This may not be ideal if you’re looking forward to having all your loved ones present at your ceremony.
So instead of leaving your wedding guests to their own devices, turning to a bus charter might be a good way to ensure the entire event runs smoothly. Not only does this mean that no one has to be the designated driver, but it also means that everyone can fully immerse themselves in the fun and excitement of a wedding celebration without having to hold back and miss out.
With a 45-seater coach in Singapore, all guests have to do is take a seat, relax, and let the bus drivers handle everything else. That way, the wedding fun can still go on inside the bus!
If you’re looking for friendly and experienced drivers, check out Hesed Limousine’s bus charters. Charter buses come with onboard wi-fi, snacks, drinks and a variety of other amenities, so you can be sure that your entire wedding reception will go off without a hitch.
2. Company Events and Excursions: Mini Coach (23-seater)
What’s better than convenience with an exclusive bus charter when your company plans an excursion out? Be it for some team-bonding, corporate volunteering or an annual dinner, renting a mini coach to shuttle your team to the location is a sure way to show employees that they are cherished. Besides ensuring that your entire team is on time, it also makes things much more exciting and fun since you’re able to kickstart your event on the ride over together.
Having a large group together while travelling on a bus charter may also help build relationships within the team. Instead of being quiet like you do on public transport, or holding yourself back when you’re in a taxi, bus charters ensure privacy and space to converse with one another freely. There are no such rules you have to abide by in the bus charter, which means a comfortable and relaxed environment can be created together.
Furthermore, if your destination is out of the way for a vast majority of your employees, having a charter bus lessens the trouble for your staff. Simply meet up at a common location and have experienced drivers shuttle everyone down to the location!
3. Photography Shoots: Toyota Hiace (13-seater)
Plush, roomy and reliable, the Toyota Hiace can accommodate all your needs.
The Toyota Hiace is a good choice for those heading for a photo shoot: spacious and comfortable, the vehicle can transport your photography and videography equipment back and forth without an issue. With up to an astonishing 6200 litres of boot space, you won’t have to worry about limiting your shoot to just basic equipment.
And even if you do require additional room, simply fold back the fourth row of seats to fit more of your own personal items. Long gone are the days when you had to pick and choose what to bring for your shoot: there’s no limit to the number of items you can bring on board for this vehicle choice! After all, it’s better to overpack than under-pack and realise you missed out on something important.
There’s even enough space for 13 passengers with the individual-style seats the car provides. With a roomy cabin, look forward to not having to squeeze in with equipment in the back of a cramped car, as well as getting the chance to relax in a cool environment with the vehicle’s rear air-conditioning. Just check out Hesed Limousine’sToyota Hiace services for more information.
4. Reserved for VIPs: Mercedes V-class MPV (8-seater)
Transport your VIPs in style, even without lifting a finger.
If your company has important business guests from overseas coming over, this bus charter alternative is a great way to show that you’ve taken their presence into careful consideration. Renting a vehicle just proves that you value them as partners, and it’s a great way to kick off any potential business collaborations.
With a chartered vehicle, your guest can avoid the worry of having to deal with public transport in an unfamiliar country (like a 2-hour disruption due to a signalling fault) and especially if they’ve just touched down. On top of that, drivers of bus charter alternatives can navigate road situations expertly, ensuring that your guests arrive on time for conferences, meetings and other important events.
The best part? The Mercedes V-class MPV is a premium choice in style and comfort. The high-quality materials that make up the car seats and the vehicle itself, combined with a spacious interior, are sure to awe any incoming business guests. Take a break in the cool, private comfort of a bus charter alternative. With drinks and snacks on board, as well as seats that go far back or turn 180 degrees, you’ll be impressing your guests with luxury.
5. Airport Transfers or Ferry Shuttles: Toyota Alphard MPV or the Toyota Vellfire MPV (7-seater)
Getting anywhere – be it the airport or the ferry terminal – is a breeze when you book ahead.
If you’re unsure about getting to or from either Changi airport or the HarbourFront Passenger Terminal, consider renting a bus charter alternative. No more stress about having to find a taxi when no one is picking up, especially since private-hire drivers tend to avoid Changi Airport (despite there being a surcharge hike as an incentive). By making plans beforehand and renting an MPV, you can be sure to get to your destination punctually, as well as enjoy a relaxing and comfortable ride.
Plus, there’s no need to worry about insufficient space as well. Bus charter alternatives like the Toyota Alphard MPV have up to 616 litres of boot space, which means you’re able to store all the luggage on you without any trouble! For 4-5 passengers in the vehicle, that’s the equivalent of 3 30” suitcases AND 1 26” suitcases, with more than enough room to accommodate any other items you might have.
Convenience has never been better assured when choosing bus charters in Singapore. Be it a bus charter or a bus charter alternative, it is undeniably a premium experience one should not skip out on with its guarantee of a relaxing and comforting time that all passengers can fully enjoy.

Hourly car rentals in Singapore – 5 reasons why they are the best luxury to indulge in with their stress-free convenience and comfort.
Travelling around Singapore can be drab. From the hot and humid weather to incidents causing delays in travel times (for an average of an additional 10 minutes to 25 minutes!), public transport can be incredibly inconvenient. Plus, this doesn’t even take into consideration waiting times, which can and will cause longer travel times depending on the area you’re in.
This hassle is not anything that those on a holiday here in Singapore may wish to face, especially if you’re not familiar with Singapore’s public transport system. And even if you are a local, it can still be incredibly inconvenient having to wait around when you could have avoided all the hassle in the first place.
Which is why hourly car rentals in Singapore can be one of the more convenient and time-saving ways to get around. Check out why hourly car rentals in Singapore can be one of the best ways of commuting!
Avoiding Unexpected And Stressful Obstacles
Hourly car rentals are a stress-free solution to weather that can change in the blink of an eye.
With how unreliable the weather can be in Singapore at times – from the balmy, scorching sun to non-stop rain in a matter of minutes – travelling via buses and Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) can take more time than expected. Without proper planning, you might be forced to walk in the rain if the route to your destination is not sheltered, which can be a massive downer on your plans.
As a tourist, even if you decide to drive as a solution, comfort and experience with Singapore’s roads matter. After all, no one wants to be stressed out about signages or road rules only locals are familiar with on your holiday. That’s not to mention the parking systems in Singapore: complicated parking lots that require prior experience, long waiting times during weekends, and the list goes on.
But bad weather and other potential issues can be easily disregarded with hourly car rentals. For instance, with Hesed Limousine’s 18 years of experience, chauffeurs know how to navigate traffic and plan ahead of time to make sure you reach your destination on time. As experts on local road conditions, the chauffeurs are able to circumvent any potential unexpected obstacles that might come your way. This means you can sit back and relax while someone experienced takes the wheel, without having to worry about any of the gritty travel details.
Luxurious Convenience With Hourly Car Rentals
Furthermore, our vehicles can help provide a comfortable experience for those involved: plush, luxurious seats you never want to leave, legroom that even the tallest person can stretch comfortably in, as well as tons of boot space to give you the option of bringing whatever you desire on your trip. With the added pleasures of ambience lighting and a good sound system, you get to indulge in all kinds of luxuries that public transport can’t provide.
Imagine being able to enjoy the luxury and comfort of a Mercedes E-Class Sedan as you go about your day, without having to worry about anything at all! No more having to stand, tired from travelling from one location to another with shopping bags under the scorching sun or heavy rain!
Privacy You Never Knew You Needed
Avoidthe bustling crowds in public transport with hourly car rentals in Singapore.
Public transport on the bus and MRT is well-known to be crowded and congested with other commuters, especially during peak hours. Squeezing onto the carriage and hoping that there’s enough space to fit you and your belongings is not something most of us look forward to.
Plus, forget about even having a full conversation with your companions above the hustle and bustle of other passengers and vehicles. Loud, boisterous conversations on public transport are not encouraged in Singapore, which can make it a little awkward if you’re speaking loudly with friends or family. Instead, enjoy your holiday and company to the fullest with hourly car rentals which guarantee additional privacy and space for you and your companions.
Kick back and relax as you travel from place to place, relishing fully in conversation and laughter. Breathe easy in a Mercedes S-class sedan with chairs fully furnished with sleek black leather finely tailored to ensure maximum comfort. After all, with hourly car rentals like Hesed Limousine, drivers will make sure you punctually reach your designated location. Once you’re all settled in, relax with the snacks, drinks (all provided!), and privacy. Have the luxury to choose what you wish to do in your own space, without worrying about others.
Hourly Car Rentals Let You Walk Around Baggage And Stress-Free
Travelling is a breeze when you have the space to store luggage at the back.
If you have a lot of baggage to transport or plan to do a lot of shopping, hourly car rentals should be your go-to mode of transport. In contrast to sweating out a bunch and cursing at the thought of having to lug everything from place to place, relaxing in a roomy vehicle might just be the preferable alternative! This means being able to shop till you drop: purchasing whatever your heart desires and being able to store it in the vehicle before going back into the mall once again and getting more.
With options like Hesed Limousine’s Toyota Alphard, which has up to 616 litres of boot space, fitting all your goods into the back will be a breeze! For 4-5 passengers in the vehicle, that’s the equivalent of 3 30” suitcases AND 1 26” suitcases with enough space to accommodate any other items you might have. That is to say, there’s more than enough room for all the shopping you intend on doing, without the added trouble of lugging them around wherever you go. Ultimately, choosing an hourly car rental in Singapore would mean being able to rest and relax as a luxurious ride and chauffeur do all the heavy lifting for you.
The Freedom To Travel Wherever You Want, Whenever
You have the freedom and luxury to go wherever you want, anytime, with Hesed Limousine!
The public transport system in Singapore does cover a huge majority of areas – which can come off as complicated at times to tourists – with roughly 365 bus services and more than 140 MRT stations. Despite the comprehensive network, there are certain areas and locations in Singapore that can still be hard to get to, with a massive amount of walking and multiple transfers required.
And even if you choose to take a taxi in and out of these more remote areas, getting one might not be so easy! Firstly, you might have to wait for 15-20 minutes to get an interested driver (especially if you’re coming from the aforementioned remote area), since not everyone is inclined to want to drive to you when you’re out of the way. Not only that, peak hours and bad weather conditions can cause an exorbitant price hike, making travelling out of or to remote areas a troublesome task.
That’s where hourly car rentals in Singapore can come in. If you’re arranging for transport beforehand, you don’t need to spend time worrying about getting a driver, waiting for the bus or even walking for exceedingly long times to the nearest bus stop. This alternative sounds much more convenient: being dropped off right at the doorstep of your destination, circumventing all the additional troubles that you could have faced if you decide to take public transport.
Hourly car rentals in Singapore can bring you anywhere you want, anytime you want it – a convenience you shouldn’t miss out on if you have the chance.
Hourly Car Rentals: The Best Way To Get Around Singapore
Travelling on public transport and fighting for space on train carriages or buses can be extremely exhausting. Not to mention the added trouble of bad weather conditions, unfamiliar roads and complicated car parks. Which is why deciding to go with hourly car rentals can be such a luxurious experience – one you’ll definitely long to repeat once you’ve tried it out. Convenience and comfort rolled together in one, it is a ride that will simply leave you yearning for more.

Wedding car rentals in Singapore: Limousine services you can consider for your wedding ceremony to ensure luxury, comfort and convenience.
Why Hiring a Wedding Car is Worth It in Singapore
Your big day is coming up, and you’re debating whether a wedding car rental in Singapore is a worthy investment for the occasion. Well, we’re here to tell you, yes, it definitely is! Besides getting you to your destination on time, renting a limousine is also more logistically appropriate considering the voluminous dresses and accessories brides don on for the occasion!
With your wedding being one of the top most memorable days of your life, it is essential that you’re spending that time travelling in luxurious comfort. Be giddy with exhilaration about married life anticipating you and your partner, instead of worrying about turning up late due to bad traffic or having to make a last-minute stop to pump petrol. Or even worse, being unable to find a parking lot when everyone’s waiting for you. With a wedding limousine, all of these troubles can easily be avoided! Check out what kind of luxurious wedding car options there are for your big day.
1. A Stylish Big Party: Toyota Alphard MPV (7-Seater) or the Toyota Alphard (8-seater)
Renting a 7-seater Toyota Alphard as a wedding car is the ideal option if you have a big wedding party. The car is also perfect if you’re planning a photo shoot with multiple props, or are going on a staycation right after your wedding. This wedding limousine can not only fit up to 8 passengers, but you also get to bring up to 5 bags with you. With up to 616 litres of boot space, the Toyota Alphard is perfect for lugging all the different wedding outfits, luggage, and equipment you might need on your big day!
One of the bigger, if not the biggest, vehicles to consider, this wedding limousine stands 5m long, 1.9m wide, and more importantly, 1.85m tall! The tallest person you know will have legroom to spare, and there’s even enough room for you to continue doing hair and makeup in the vehicle itself. Undeniably, there’s so much space that even the little moments of downtime can be captured by a photographer in the vehicle. Imagine looking back at your photos, reminiscing about the fun times in the car as you prepare for your big moment!
The main difference between the 7-seater and 8-seater Toyota Alphard depends entirely on how much usable area you would like. Booking an 8-seater Toyota Alphard would mean more space for prepping and doing your makeup or hair, as the traditional captain chairs in the second row are now replaced with a three-seat bench instead. Still, the versatile seating configurations these wedding cars provide help in keeping your loved ones and dearest friends close, with more than enough room for everyone to create special memories together.
Perfect for: Couples with a big wedding party or if you have many items that require transporting.
The high-quality materials that make out the car seats and the car have enshrined this as a comfortable ride through and through, easily catering to those who seek both luxury and comfort in a single vehicle. Not only is the interior spacious – which means all the world when you’re rushing to a photo shoot or your ceremony and need to touch up on your makeup or hair – the subtle details of the wedding car also make this a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Furthermore, with seats that get to go extremely far back and chairs which can turn 180 degrees, you get to continue conversations conveniently.
Partake in wedding celebrations by grabbing a glass or two of champagne, and then fill in the car once more to get to your next location. If you’re driving with Hesed Limousine, take a breather as you grab a drink or snack (provided onboard – we know how busy things can get at wedding celebrations!). You’re in completely safe hands: our friendly drivers will make sure you get from one place to another in the most efficient manner, so there’s no need to worry about a designated driver or anyone missing out on the fun.
Perfect for: Couples who want to have fun in style with their groomsmen and bridesmaids.
3. Intimate Affairs: Mercedes S-Class Sedan (4-seater)
Create intimate moments with your wedding party as you travel in style in a Mercedes S-class Sedan.
The S in the Mercedes S-class Sedan stands for the German word Sonderklasse, which translates to Special Class in English. As one of the best-selling high-luxury sedans ever, we can see why this has been called just that: taking a ride on this vehicle is the kind of experience you will never forget. A thoroughly lavish experience like no other that’ll do well to mark the beginning of your wedding day, this wedding car will provide you with the red carpet treatment you so rightly deserve.
This flagship, full-sized wedding car will definitely leave an impression on both you and your companions too. With sleek black leather on the interior that matches the smooth polish of the exterior, travelling in style has never been easier. Comfort isn’t sacrificed either. Finely tailored leather with thousands of stitches coming together for a seamless result that will allow you to kick back and relax, with no car-related worries in mind. You’ll be grateful for having picked this option for your wedding limousine as our driver handles everything else.
State-of-the-art entertainment system with a Burmester® 3D Surround Sound, get to immerse yourself in some groovy beats that’ll calm the nerves as you head to your wedding location. Indeed, you’ll be sure to drown yourself in glamour-filled luxury with this as your pick of wedding car.
Perfect for: Couples who want something more private and to create intimate moments with their wedding party.
4. Affordable Luxury: Mercedes E-Class Sedan (4-seater)
This vehicle will definitely set the tone for the rest of your wedding! Stylish and sleek, this is the smaller cousin of the S-Class Sedan. The E-class here stands for Executive class, a fitting name for Mercedes’s brand of midsize vehicles. A combination of both comfort and sophistication, it is undoubtedly a delight to go anywhere with this car, let alone your own wedding destination.
With seats that have had upholstery hand-fitted to them, the Mercedes E-Class Sedan is a wedding car that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and affordability. You can’t go wrong at S$65/hour with a gentle ride and a roomy cabin that’ll allow you to concentrate on the important things. Rehearse your vows on the ride to your wedding, rather than worry about getting car sick from a bumpy and uncomfortable ride.
Perfect for: Couples on a budget who prefer peace and style.
5. Wedding Shuttle: Toyota Hiace (13-seater) to Coach (23 to 45-seater)
Turn up on time with all your wedding guests in our Toyota Hiace or coaches as you travel to other locations.
While not exactly a wedding limousine per se, we still consider this wedding car to be pretty essential especially if you’ll be transporting large groups of people. Let’s say you just finished your wedding ceremony and want to proceed with your wedding reception at a separate location. Without a coach, wedding guests would have to find their own transportation there, which makes things inconvenient — especially for the elderly, or those who use mobility aids.
Instead of going through all that trouble, hiring a coach can mean convenience and ease for everyone! Have all of your guests enter the same vehicle and our driver will make sure that everyone reaches your planned destination in a punctual manner. Worries about arranging transport options or someone being late and missing out can be easily disregarded now that everyone is travelling together
Not to mention, we have vehicles catering to every party size. From our 13-seater Toyota Hiace, to our 23-seater or 45-seater coach, we’re sure to have the perfect minibus or coach for you to be able to shuttle your guests back and forth.
Perfect for: Large weddings with multiple celebration locations!

Bus rides from Singapore to JB
Although one of the cheapest ways to travel to Johor, taking a bus from Singapore to JB can seem complicated, especially with the myriad of choices available. Fortunately, it’s simpler than it looks!
If you’re heading to JB from Singapore via bus, start by boarding a bus straight to Woodlands Checkpoint. There are several locations around the island that take you to Woodlands Checkpoint, where you can travel across the causeway to Johor Bahru.
Buses & Boarding Locations To Woodlands Checkpoint
From Woodlands Integrated Transport Hub: Board bus 950, 856, 856A, 903, 911, 912 or 912B
From Kranji MRT: Buses 170 and 170X or Walk to Opp S’pore Turf Club and board bus 160
From Bugis MRT: Walk to Fu Lu Shou Cplx and board bus 170
Although only the main locations are listed here, if you’re anywhere in Singapore where these buses are available, you’ll be able to get to the checkpoint easily!
Fortunately, once you’re past Singapore’s immigration, you’re halfway there. Now, all you have to do is head onto any of the SMRT or SBS buses available within the compound heading to JB’s immigration checkpoint. There are plenty of signs for you to follow, so you won’t get lost!
Things To Note:
1. Once you’re at Woodlands Checkpoint, the entire journey from Singapore to JB can take as fast as an hour during non-peak periods. However, during peak periods, travel can take up to 4 hours due to the Singapore-Malaysia causeway’s infamous traffic jams. So be sure to plan your time well! Beyond traffic, peak hour travel also means bracing the peak hour crowds and long waiting times, before eventually squeezing into a sardine-packed bus and standing for the entirety of the journey.
2. Prices for bus rides range from $1-$3 per entry, and can be paid by an Ez-Link card. Remember to have at least $15 in value for a trip there and back before heading over!
2. Train from Singapore to JB
Train from Singapore Woodlands Train Checkpoint to JB
One of the fastest ways to get to Singapore from JB, taking the train guarantees you’re at your destination in approximately 5 minutes (from the moment the train takes off)! No jams, no fuss, and no standing in line for buses.
You can purchase your tickets online via the KTM website or over the counter at the train station. They cost SGD5 if you’re buying them from Singapore over the counter, or RM5 if you’re purchasing them in advance on KTM’s website. However, do note that a return ticket to Singapore costs RM16 (remember to buy it together with your ticket to JB so it’s cheaper!). A return ticket can cost up to RM32 if you don’t buy it together with your ticket to JB.
Things To Note:
1. While this might be the fastest way across the border, taking a train requires proper planning. Remember to book your tickets at least 3 weeks in advance. This is especially if you’re catching the train on the weekends or on Friday nights. Trains are often booked to maximum capacity with Singaporeans looking for a quick getaway and Malaysian workers heading home.
2. Seats are not always guaranteed if you’re purchasing your ticket over the counter. If you decide to buy a train ticket this way, be sure to have a back up plan.
3. While the trains do have overhead storage compartments, they are not equipped for large amounts of luggage. Travellers with lots of luggage might have to sacrifice comfort to hold their luggage. So while a train ride over might be the best option for quick, travellers may want to consider packing light, or doing research on the train’s storage areas before proceeding.
Fortunately, the best part of the train ride to JB from Singapore is that once you’ve purchased your tickets and boarded the train, the train ride to JB from Singapore is definitely worth the advanced planning. Cheap, fast rides that avoid the traffic jams? Count us in!
3. Taxi From Singapore To JB
Ban San Street Taxi Terminal
Not willing to navigate the crowds and long waiting times? Grabbing a taxi from Singapore to JB might just be the option for you. Depending on where you’re hiring your taxi and where in JB you’re hopping off, prices for taxi rides into JB range from $60-$140 per ride. Each taxi can take up to 4 passengers too, which means it’s pretty affordable per person to head over via a taxi!
There are 2 ways to get a taxi to Johor Bahru. Most locals just head to Ban San Street Taxi Terminal, where there are plenty of taxis and drivers ready to make the trip across the causeway. However, you can also make a call for a cab from any location in Singapore.
Things To Note:
1. Luggage space is almost guaranteed with taxis. However, if you have lots of luggage, grabbing a cab over might become a gamble for space. Taxi sedans may only have space for 2 bags and 4 passengers. Perhaps less, if you’re carrying bigger luggage.
2. Remember to do your research and plan your trip and route in advance to avoid peak hour travel conditions heading into JB, or you might just find yourself stuck in a traffic jam!
4. Private Limousine Rentals
Comfortable, spacious cabins with limousine rides from Singapore to JB
There’s nothing better than travelling in comfort, and private limousine rentals in Singapore afford you just that. Imagine traversing through causeway jams in spacious cabins. Breathe comfortably, stretch out your legs, and enjoy the snugness of cosy captain seats!
Probably the most value for money option here (that also avoids the fuss of public transport), private limousine rentals from Singapore to JB go at about $250 per ride. The best part? That’s the cost for at least 4 people per vehicle. Hesed Limousine’s rides to JB from Singapore can carry up to 7 passengers, not including luggage!
Speaking of which, if you’re planning to bring lots of luggage for the trip, Hesed Limousine’s limousines’ rides to JB have 616 litres of trunk space (3 30” luggage bags and 1 26” luggage bag). This way, you don’t have to lug your bags into a train or carry them for hours while waiting for a bus.
Things To Note:
1. Hesed Limousine’s services come with pre-planning for your trip from Singapore to JB. Should you wish to avoid peak hours as much as possible, Hesed Limousine’s experienced planners can suggest the best time and way to travel to JB.
2. Be sure to be aware of any extra charges that can be incurred (eg. extra waiting times, or extra stops).
3. While general limousine services allow for pick up and drop off anywhere in Singapore and JB, do make sure to plan your pick up and drop off locations ahead of time.
So whether it’s a quick getaway or a long trip to Malaysia, travelling to JB from Singapore is pretty easy! And with the variety of options to choose from, you can always pick and choose based on your budget, needs, and schedule.

The holidays are coming up, and perhaps you’re planning a relaxing trip with your children to Kuala Lumpur (KL) for a short getaway before school starts again. Singapore and KL are 316 km apart, and we’ve compiled a list of the best ways for you to travel the distance that’ll have you excited to be travelling in style!
1. Take a flight from Singapore to KL
Remember to bring along your passport for the intercountry journey from Singapore to KL!
This may possibly be the most convenient way of travelling – after all, the duration of the entire flight is only about an hour from Singapore Changi Airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. However, it unfortunately also makes this the most expensive option.
Prices for flight tickets for a short-haul location (from Singapore to KL!) can range between SGD72 to SGD190, and these are only one-way prices! Last-minute ticket purchases, travelling during festive seasons and optional add-ons like seat reservations or extra baggagecould mean an even higher price. Plus, since flight tickets are fast-selling during peak periods, this means impromptu getaway trips might not exactly be as feasible!
2. Take a bus from Singapore to KL
A bus can pick you up from a variety of locationsdepending on the company.
This is one of the more common options that most travellers take when travelling from Singapore since it only takes about 5 to 6 hours. A bus from Singapore to KL is also an easier method to travel with, since there are at least 16 different coach companies you can use, like Odyssey Prestige or Aeroline.
While the options may seem overwhelming at first, the services they provide are relatively similar. The main differences in price depends mainly on the amenities onboard and how roomy and comfortable you’d like your seat to be on the bus.
For example, more expensive coaches provide food and water onboard, and have a massage chair alongside many other features. Of course, all these come with a markup in price. The cost of a seat on a coach from Singapore to KL thus depends entirely on how much you are willing to pay. There is a wide price range between roughly SGD30 to SGD60 per seat, depending on the coach and the type of seat you decide to go with.
3. Take a train from Singapore to KL
New sights are available for you to marvel at if you pick the option of taking a train from Singapore to KL.
This one’s for the adventurous and for those who like to go off the beaten path! If you’re looking to enjoy Malaysia’s genuine, rustic views beyond the hustle and bustle of cityscapes before reaching KL, this is a travel method you’d enjoy!
Here’s what you would need to do to travel from Singapore to KL by train:
From Singapore Woodlands Checkpoint, take the train to Johor Bahru Central (JB Sentral) in Malaysia. This will be about 5 minutes.
After reaching JB Sentral, you then have to board another train to Gemsas Station, which will be about 4.5 hours.
From Gemsas Station, you will have to get on KTM’s Electric Train Service to reach Kuala Lumpur Central (KL Sentral), which is a rough 2.5 hours ride away.
In total, the whole journey should span between a rough 7 to 8 hours. However, this does not factor in any waiting time for trains (since they don’t run every hour of the day), or any jams at the immigration checkpoints between Singapore to JB Sentral. If you’re lucky, this can easily add an hour or two to your total travel time. If you’re unlucky, this can cause your entire journey by train to easily span a full day or more.
You also have to ensure that you do not miss your connecting train as well since this can leave you stranded in an unfamiliar location and cause unwanted issues to arise. If you’re travelling with young children, this travel method might not be as family-friendly due to any sudden emergencies that could occur.
While a path less travelled, it doesn’t make it any less exciting for adventurous travellers who want to see a glimpse of what Malaysia has to offer beyond the city. Train carriages are pretty comfortable, and you also get to see the different landscapes and views passing by the window in the safety of your seat. This is a relatively affordable option at tickets totalling up to slightly below SGD30, which is a steal considering how you also get to explore different parts of Malaysia at the same time.
4. Drive down from Singapore to KL
The famous Malaysia-Singapore road trips aren’t famous for nothing! Between flexibility of itinerary and privacy, driving down to KL is definitely one of the more enticing options listed here. You get to decide your own pace, take your time, and decide what you want to do in a leisurely manner– something a flight or coach ride might not be able to provide.
Furthermore, if you’re travelling with friends, road trips are also a great way to have fun even before you reach your destination! Having a private space to yourself means being able to watch a favourite movie, karaoke, or even just talk to one another as a great way to pass the time and start the trip..
However, driving down to KL hinges on two important factors: a driving licence and a car. Your designated driver will have to be willing to traverse the Malaysian roads from Singapore. For a new driver, this would sound daunting and could be a challenge they might not be up to just yet. Being comfortable with driving in a foreign country and through unfamiliar traffic and roads is something best left up to seasoned drivers.
Not to mention, you must also own a Vehicle Entry Permit-registered car (or be willing to rent one) to drive and reach KL. Otherwise, vehicles caught without this permit would be fined a penalty of RM150 (approximately SGD50). Improper planning can also result in hidden costs when forgetting to take into account highway charges (and how to pay them!), toll charges, or even road charges for entry from Singapore to Malaysia.
5. Hire a private car and limousine
Last but not least, don’t forget to have fun on your car ride from Singapore to KL!
While driving down from Singapore to KL would be a great option, not everyone can drive, or are comfortable driving in another country. Hiring a limousine however, is the best of both worlds: it combines convenience and comfort, while still offering you privacy and flexibility on your travels.
From a 7-seater Toyota Vellfire MPV to the 4-seater Mercedes S-class Sedan, limousine service companies like Hesed Limousine offer a full range of options. Their private hires all come fully insured and stocked with snacks and drinks, as well as onboard wifi and iPhone chargers. Talk about convenience and comfort! Be it with children or with your elderly parents, there is something for everyone – with limousines, comfort is prioritised! Prices range from SGD55 to SGD100 per hour, depending on the type of vehicle chosen.
So while other travel methods may be slightly more affordable than hiring a private car and limousine to travel from Singapore to KL, the benefits and convenience of a private mode of transport are much more appealing. Forget about navigating unfamiliar roads on your own, hidden costs, or squeezing into buses with other commuters/travellers!
Imagine having your own private space to yourself and relax in a roomy limousine instead of squeezing with people onboard the bus or plane. You can lie back and relax in style, even if you get stuck in one of those notorious highway jams. Travelling in comfort is an experience a majority of us would greatly appreciate and it’s no wonder why those who desire a convenient and cosy experience would pick this way of travelling.
There are ups and downs for each option of travelling from Singapore to KL. Each travelling situation – with your friends, children, or with an adventurous companion – might be suited more for one way than the other. Ultimately, of course, it is up to you to decide which method would work best for your travel plans!

Staying in love with Genting Highlands is a timeless pastime for Singaporeans. And between the strawberry farms, theme parks, and of course, the cool aircon-like temperatures we don’t get in sunny Singapore, it’s not that hard to continue being absolutely charmed by the area either!
Travelling to Genting Highlands: Your Options
When you think of travelling from Singapore to Genting Highlands, chances are, you’re thinking of heading there one of two ways: booking a seat on a bus or driving up there yourself! Riding in a limousine can be an experience like no other. From having the door opened for you by a chauffeur to stepping into luxury, privacy, and comfort, a limousine ride can definitely be all that it’s cut out to be, and perhaps a little more… If you know how to do it right!
So if you’re looking for limousines in Singapore for your wedding, airport transfer, or even just an exclusive, comfortable hourly car rental, this is the place to be. From how to hire a limousine service in Singapore to the types of limousines out there, here are 5 things to note before hiring a limousine in Singapore.
1. Do Your Research
Before hiring that luxurious ride, remember to do your research! There are plenty of companies to choose from in Singapore, so take the time to be certain about your decision. Between varying price points and different services, doing a little digging on each company can make all the difference in your experience. Companies like Hesed Limousine have 5/5 stars on Facebook – so you can rest assured that it’s passenger approved!
2. Pick The Limousine That Best Fits Your Event
Hesed Limousine has a wide range of vehicle options for your needs
A limousine is more than just a form of transport – it’s luxury, privacy, and service all rolled into one. Depending on your event, a limousine can even be a statement, a testament to the importance of the event from the comfort you are affording – all of which is why picking the limousine that best fits you and your company matters.
Before rolling into just any ride though, take the time to peruse the limousine company’s fleet and get an idea of what you might need. Depending on your event, an S-Class Mercedes Sedan might offer better ease than an E-Class Mercedes Sedan with its extra legroom, but an MPV might be a more suitable option for long distance trips (such as those road trips to and from Malaysia).
3. Communication Is Key
Each vehicle and service varies in cost and experience provided – so be sure to clearly communicate all you need when requesting for a limousine. From the luggage you might be carrying to the problems you expect to face. This will make it easier for your company of choice to recommend the best, value-for-money option for your trip!
In Singapore, a comfortable Airport Transfer in a 7-8 seater limousine can cost an affordable $75, while a 45-seater mini coach starts at $125. If you’re opting for point-to-point transfers (such as during weddings), a trip could cost from $65 to $120 per transfer depending on the type of limousine. So depending on what you need, you can rest assured you’ll be getting the best price and care the limousine service has to offer.
4. The Rideshare vs Limousine Conundrum
Chauffeur services with Hesed Limousine.
With a limousine service, it’s the little things that matter. Hiring a limousine means hiring comfort and convenience – which is why you’ll always be greeted by a chauffeur that you can count on to be there on time, who will sort out all your destinations and travel routes, and more. This way, you won’t have to put in the time, or carry any heavy luggage in and out of vehicles. Travelling via limousine in Singapore means fuss-free travels and transport, something not even a rideshare can provide!
So before hiring that ride, it’s important to consider the key difference between a rideshare and a limousine: amazing service! A rideshare might be slightly cheaper depending on the destination and service required, but with a limousine, you’re providing yourself with all the comforts you deserve for just a little more – including personal service by your very own chauffeur.
5. Remember To Relax
Don’t stress out over the small things
It might be tempting to make sudden changes in ready-made plans, or scrutinise everything that’s been prepared for you. However, for the full indulgent, royalty-like treatment, it’s best to trust the experts and relax! Chances are, you’ve done your research, conveyed your needs, and are ready to make that trip – everything’s been prepared for you, so now all you have to do is sink into a seat and watch the trees pass by the day of.
A limousine service in Singapore isn’t hard to hire, and that’s exactly the point! Prioritising your convenience and ease, hiring a limousine for your trips, events, and airport transfers could change the way you travel forever, for the better.
